Macquarie Lions
It all began when we were searching for something that was fun, exciting, and educational that brought people together, for students to be a part of. The answer was soccer. Soccer is a great way of bringing people together from all walks of life and we have now put a team together at Macquarie Education Group Australia. Introducing: the Macquarie Lions mixed soccer team. Our aim is to use English from the classroom in an Australian, English-speaking environment while meeting new people, hanging out with friends, getting fit, all the while having fun in a social environment. We hope that all Lions enjoy and make the most of this experience and invite both males and females who share similar passions in English, fun and soccer, to come watch and enjoy the game support the team then join us for a meal after the game, or challenge our team to a game, or simply join the team and kick arse.
