Macquarie Mandarin Tea Tasting Ceremony

Macquarie Mandarin successfully held a Tea Tasting Ceremony on Saturday 26th September 09 for its Advanced Business Mandarin and Mandarin Level 1 classes, as its regular end of the term Chinese cultural activity as well as a rich afternoon tea celebration ceremony.

Students and teachers from Mandarin classes and other MEGA sections enjoyed the traditional Chinese tea tasting including green tea, wooloog tea and jasmine tea.

Chinese tea master De Jianmin and her assistant demonstrated the tea making procedures and gave an interesting talk about Chinese tea and its long history.
